Journeyfront Supported Browsers

Journeyfront works on most major online platforms. To use Journeyfront, you must have the most updated versions of Microsoft Edge, Safari, Chrome, Firefox, or Internet Explorer. Below will be instructions on how to update your browser

Microsoft Edge v15

Microsoft Edge is the default browser for Windows 10. However, if you do not have Microsoft Edge, you can download it by going to the website and following the prompts to download it. If your Microsoft Edge isn’t up to date, this can be accomplished by updating Windows. To do this, click on the “Start” button on the lower left hand side of your screen. In the Start menu, navigate to settings, which should be a small icon of a gear. From there, scroll to the bottom of this menu and click on “updates and security.” From here, click on “Windows Update” and check for updates. If there is one available, update and you will have the latest version of Microsoft Edge.

Safari v11

Using the Safari browser means you are using an Apple product running on iOS. Most Apple devices already come with Safari, but in the case you don't have Safari on your computer, reinstalling MacOS will return Safari to your computer. To download MacOS you must go to iTunes and download MacOS Mojave, following the installation sequence. To simply update Safari, you must update MacOS which will appear as an update prompt for a software update. Updating MacOS will automatically update your Safari browser.

Chrome v56

Chrome is another great option to use JourneyFront on. If you do not have the browser, it can be downloaded on the Google Chrome website (https://www.google.com/chrome/). Downloading it for the first time will automatically download its most current version available. The most current version available depends upon your operating system. Using the most up to date operating system for your respective provider will give you Chrome v74, which is more up to date than the minimum required Chrome v56. To update Chrome, in the top right corner below the close page button, there is a button with three vertical dots. When you click on this, looking down in the box opened, if it says “Update Google Chrome” your Chrome is not up to date. Clicking this will update the OS. If this prompt is not there, your Chrome is up to date. If you do not have the latest version, and cannot update a more recent version of Chrome, your operating system most likely doesn’t support the new version of Chrome and needs to be updated.

Firefox v52

To use Firefox, you will need to have your Firefox updated to at least version 52. If you do not have Firefox, you can download it from the website by clicking download and following the installation prompts. This will get you the most up to date version of the program. If your program is out of date and needs to be updated, this can be accomplished by clicking the menu button (three horizontal lines stacked vertically) and selecting “About Firefox.” By doing this, the “About Firefox” window will open and begin automatically checking for and downloading updates. Once the downloads are downloaded, click the “Restart to update Firefox” prompt, and wait for the program to restart. After this, the program will be fully updated.

Internet Explorer v10

Most new computers no longer utilize Internet Explorer. However, if you have Internet Explorer v11 or v10, you can use Journeyfront. If you have any earlier versions, updating windows or your operating system will most likely make Internet Explorer incompatible with your device. This means it is best for you to download the latest version of a different web browser such as Google Chrome, or Firefox, both of which are compatible with Journeyfront.
