How to Create "Offer Letter Templates"

Offer Letter Templates allow you to upload an offer letter that you're already using. By adding offer field keys (merge fields) to the template, you can easily and quickly generate offer letters (See article on 'How to Generate Offer Letters)

  1. Sign in at https://app.journeyfront.com/login
  2. Navigate to 'Company Settings' by clicking on the gear icon 
  3. Click on ‘Offers’ in the left hand menu bar and then select ‘Offer Letter Templates’
  4. The first step in creating an "Offer Template" is to create an Offer letter in MS Word,  Google Docs, etc., and add in the key offer fields from the list in the screenshot above.  
    1. File type needs to be .docx 
    2. File needs to be less than 5mb to send as an e-signature.
    3. See example Offer Template below
  5. Once your Offer template is ready to upload, click on “+ Add Offer Letter Template”
    1. Add in the Template Name
    2. Upload the .docx file
    3. Once you have successfully uploaded the .docx offer template, you’ll see the screenshot below
    4. Confirm the Template Name
    5. Confirm you have the right .docx document (offer template)
    6. If you successfully added Key Fields/Tokens in your .docx offer template, you’ll see them listed below as either:
      1. E-signature tokens
      2. Offer Tokens
    7. Confirm that all of the key fields/tokens that you incorporated into the offer letter template show up on this screen to make sure the system accurately identified all of the key fields/tokens in the template
    8. Click ‘Save’
    9. Once created, you’ll be able see the following data points::
      1. Offer Form Name
      2. Last Update (date)
      3. Updated By
    10. To the right of each template you’ll see 3 icons that represent (in order) the following actions:
    11. Download
    12. Edit
    13. Delete
  6. Congratulations!  You can now see your newly created Offer Letter Template in the section below
